By registering for the 2026 Vascular Annual Meeting (VAM26), you (i) represent and warrant to SVS that you have read these Terms & Conditions; (ii) agree to abide by and be bound by these Terms & Conditions; and (iii) acknowledge and agree that your personally identifiable and other information will be used by SVS, its vendors and others as described below. If you do not agree to or accept these Terms & Conditions, you may not register for VAM26. SVS reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The Society for Vascular Surgery (“SVS,” “we,” or “us”) has created this privacy policy to allow us to hold registration for VAM26 while respecting your privacy and protecting your personal information. Specifically, this privacy policy covers the following topics:
This privacy policy applies to information that SVS collects in connection with the registration process for VAM26. When you register for VAM26 we collect (i) information provided voluntarily; and (ii) information collected automatically, as described in detail below.
The Site and VAM26 are not directed toward children under the age of 21, however individuals registering for VAM may register a child as a guest. We do not knowingly collect information from children, however, should a child be registered as a guest, it should be done so with parental consent. If we become aware that a child has registered to participate in VAM26 and provided us with information without parental consent, that information will be deleted from our records and access to VAM26 will be revoked.

We employ reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural security measures to safeguard your personal information and to help protect against unauthorized access and disclosure. Online registration information, such as payment card information, will be secured using a commercially accepted method of encryption. However, please be aware that no method of electronic transmission is completely infallible, and we cannot guarantee its absolute safety. We encourage you to take reasonable care in how you handle and disclose your personal information, username(s), and password(s). If you become aware of any breach of Site security, please contact us immediately.
SVS retains your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected as set forth in this privacy policy, after which we will securely destroy or delete such personal information from our records unless otherwise required by law. We will retain and use information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and as otherwise set forth in this privacy policy.
If you are visiting the Site from outside the United States, please be aware that you are sending information, including personal data, to the United States where our servers are located. The unauthorized capture of photographs, video recordings, or AI-generated notes of any part of the meeting— including presentations, discussions, exhibits, attendees, or other educational content—is strictly prohibited. Additionally, screen recording or any form of capturing of live-streamed sessions is expressly forbidden. Only designated representatives of the Society for Vascular Surgery, including official photographers and videographers, are permitted to record or photograph meeting content or activities.
Should any changes be made to this privacy policy or the Terms & Conditions, we will post them on the Site with an appropriate explanation.
Using the Site and registering for VAM26 as well as the Silent Auction indicates your acceptance of our privacy policy and the Terms & Conditions. Your continued visit to the Site after changes are posted to this policy will signify your acceptance of those changes.

Limitation of Liability. In no event shall SVS or its officers, directors, members, staff, or agents be liable for any damages of any kind, including, without limitation, any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, whether or not advised of the possibility of such damages, and on any theory of liability whatsoever, arising out of, or in connection with, the use or performance of the Site or any content appearing on the Site.
Disclaimer. SVS makes no warranty, guaranty, or representation regarding the accuracy, content, completeness, reliability, operability, or legality of information contained within the Site, without limitation, the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular use, and non-infringement of proprietary rights.
Choice of Law and Forum. These Terms & Conditions are entered into and performed in the State of Illinois, United States of America, and are governed by the laws of Illinois, exclusive of its choice of law or conflict of law’s provisions. In any claim or action directly or indirectly arising under these Terms & Conditions or related to VAM26 Registration site, each party irrevocably submits to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of the state courts located in Cook County, Illinois, or the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, whichever has jurisdiction, and each party waives any jurisdictional, venue, or inconvenient forum objections to such court.
Complete Agreement. If any provision or provisions of these Terms & Conditions are held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction not to be enforceable, then such provisions shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms & Conditions shall otherwise remain in full force and effect. These Terms & Conditions supersede any other statements included elsewhere on the Site that are inconsistent or conflict with these Terms & Conditions.
Publicity Release. This event will be photographed and videotaped. By entering any of the VAM event premises, I consent to photography and video recording (including but limited to images, photographs, voice, or likeness) and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for promotion or any other purposes by SVS, SVS Foundation and its affiliates and representatives without compensation.
Errors/Omissions. SVS is not responsible for errors or omissions. Schedules, speakers, and program content are subject to change.
Refunds. Registration fees, social event tickets and course cancellation requests should be directed to SVS via email at svs@compusystems.com and must be received by Monday, April 27, 2026. Cancellations received by April 27 will receive a full refund, less a $75 administrative fee. Cancellations received after April 27, are non-refundable. All refunds will be processed after the meeting. In the event Show Management should find it necessary to cancel the 2026 Vascular Annual Meeting for any reason, its liability shall be limited to a full refund of the registration fee.
